Chess Beginner — Wed 6–7pm

Start here. Students learn how the pieces move and capture, the rules of the game, and how to start and finish a game successfully. SJIC has over ten years of experience taking players from their first game to national championships, and we build good habits from the very beginning — so beginners leave with real fundamentals, not just a working knowledge of the rules.
