Students are introduced to coding using Scratch, the beginner-friendly visual programming language built for kids at MIT Media Lab. Using simple drag-and-drop blocks, they create their own animations and games — projects like Space Invaders and Geometry Dash — and are subtly exposed to real programming concepts along the way. This is the class to stretch the imagination of a budding programmer.
